Scheduling

Time relates to money and the two disciplines cannot be separated. As with Cost Management we have systems in place to manage change and predict problems in time to take corrective action. Out extensive range of sophisticated computer tools form an indispensable part of our project management function.

These tools include:

Information Release Schedule for monitoring progress throughout the design process.

Detailed Strategic Schedule incorporating the design, procurement and construction phases of the project, including long lead items, and 'freeze' dates for submittals. This will take the form of a computer generated bar chart usually based on an easily understood critical path network analysis which can be utilized as an effective control tool. The schedule will set the target dates for commencement and completion of each activity and will be agreed by the Project team as a whole.

Electronic Interface to allow databases of all team members to connect and communicate effectively throughout the project. This also allows us to link with cash flow analysis to check financial progress with contractor reported progress.

Detailed General Construction Schedule including quality assurance procedures and “information required” data provided by Contractor/Construction Manager, incorporating award of sub contractor and delivery of major materials.
